About the challenge
Next Byte Hacks V2 is an open-ended, beginner-friendly online hackathon where creators build impactful, innovative projects. Whether it’s AI, apps, hardware, or social good solutions, participants compete for prizes, certificates, and recognition. Anyone 13+ can join—learn new skills, team up, and create something awesome.
Get started
Register for the hackathon, form a team or join one, and start brainstorming ideas. Check the rules, review the judging criteria, and gather any tools or APIs you plan to use. Once the event opens, begin building your project and prepare your Devpost submission with a video, code link, and screenshots.
Requirements
What to Build
Create any software or hardware project made during the hackathon. All ideas are welcome—AI/ML, apps, websites, tools, games, social good projects, or anything innovative.
You may use open-source libraries and templates, but the main work must be done during the event.
Projects can be built solo or in teams.
What to Submit
1. Project Description – What it does, the problem it solves, and key features.
2. Demo Video (1–3 min) – Show the project working; screen recording or live demo.
3. GitHub Repo – Public code with setup instructions.
4. Screenshots – At least 2–3 images of the project.
5. Devpost Page – Team info, tools used, challenges, what you learned, and future plans.
