Eligibility

Open to participants worldwide.

    •    Participants must be 13 years or older, or the minimum age required in their region.

    •    Team size: 1–4 members.

    •    Participants may submit newly created projects only; previously submitted or completed projects are not allowed.

    •    All participants must agree to the Devpost Terms of Service and the hackathon's rules.

Project and Submission Requirements

To qualify for judging, each submission must include:

 

    1    A working project built specifically during the hackathon period.

    2    A Devpost submission page containing:

    ◦    Project title and description

    ◦    List of technologies used

    ◦    Screenshots and/or images

    ◦    A demo video (2–5 minutes) clearly explaining:

    ▪    What the project does

    ▪    How it works

    ▪    The problem it solves

    3    GitHub or repository link with accessible source code.

    4    Compliance with all applicable licensing, API, or platform rules.

    5    No harmful, plagiarized, or AI-generated code that violates tool or platform policies.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Projects will be evaluated by the judging panel using the following criteria:

    1    Innovation & Creativity (25%)

    ◦    Uniqueness of the idea

    ◦    Creative approach to solving the problem

    2    Technical Complexity (25%)

    ◦    Depth of engineering and implementation

    ◦    Use of relevant technologies

    3    Functionality & Execution (25%)

    ◦    How well the project works

    ◦    User experience and overall polish

    4    Presentation & Clarity (25%)

    ◦    Quality of the demo video

    ◦    Clear explanation of the concept and implementation

Winner Selection:

    •    Judges score each submission based on the criteria above.

    •    Final scores determine winners; in the event of a tie, judges will discuss and make the final decision.

    •    All decisions are final.
